I’ve been developing Web applications for years. The definition of “web application” includes both web-oriented software specially developed for different Customers, each of which with a particular core business, both Web Sites, because CMSes have turned them into real applications.
So in the last years I wrote software from scratch, defining the design, the architecture, the database structure and then realizing the development, but I’ve also customized the architecture for personalized Web sites, based on CMS.
For this reason I have gained skills ranging from database administration to webmastering, like any good IT manager should have in his know-how.
