The Dalton Somaré Gallery, which is specialized in the search and selection, according to museological criteria, of art works from India, the Himalayas and the Subsaharan Africa, ordered in late 2010 to Dev2010 the design and implementation of its brand new website.

Among the requested key features there was the possibility for the users to see, uploaded on the website, even high resolution pictures of details of the most valuable pieces of the collection.

That’s because customers should be able to appreciate the high quality workmanship and the precious materials right from the pictures even before going to the gallery.

Dev2010 has just implemented a zoom effect on high-resolution images, easy to use either by the website user or by the content administrator of the site, who works on it through the administration area.

Everything has been obtained harmonizing the website layout with the jQuery framework and with the other features that make a minimalistic site an example of Web 2.0 technology.
